Radek von Hirschberg właściwie Radek Hirschberg (urodzony w 1978 roku w Jeleniej Górze) – polski fotograf, zdobywca międzynarodowych tytułów oraz nagród w zakresie fotografii artystycznej. Posiada tytuł Artiste Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (AFIAP), Artysty Fotografa (AFRP) oraz jest członkiem rzeczywistym Fotoklubu Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej.
W dorobku Hirschberga znajdują się dwa projekty artystyczne, które zostały wyróżnione międzynarodowymi nagrodami: „Opuszczone Piękno” oraz „Połączeni z Naturą”.

Połączeni z Naturą – Projekt artystyczny „Połączeni z Naturą” podkreśla relację człowieka z naturą, jej piękno, różnorodność i złożoność. Akcentuje konieczność postrzegania świata jako harmonijnej całości oraz przypomina o zależności człowieka od ekosystemu. „…Pierwszy raz Radka Hirschberga spotkałem 8 sierpnia 2021 r. w Warszawie w jego domu, umówiliśmy się na lunch, a skończyło się na zdjęciach. Po tych zdjęciach, bardzo osobistych, wiedziałem, że musimy się jeszcze spotkać. Umówiliśmy się na Pl. Konstytucji w Warszawie 12 lipca 2022 r., gdzie zrobiłem następną serię zdjęć, a wśród nich takie, które on sam używa do reprezentowania siebie…” – Czesław Czapliński.

Radek von Hirschberg, real name Radek Hirschberg (born 1978 in Jelenia Góra) – Polish photographer, winner of international titles and awards in the field of artistic photography. He holds the title of Artiste Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (AFIAP), Artist Photographer (AFRP) and is a full member of the Photoclub of the Republic of Poland.
Hirschberg’s portfolio includes two artistic projects that have been distinguished with international awards: “Abandoned Beauty” and “Connected with Nature”.
Hirschberg's photographic works - https://radekvonhirschberg.eu/en/exhibitions/publication-in-peng-magazine-issue-blackwhite-august-2022 / - are characterized by universality, with an emphasis on presenting man in a broad context - narrative portraits, nudes, abstract forms. The artist also creates landscapes and records architecture in its raw, minimalist version. He uses digital and analog techniques, combining modern cameras with vintage lenses, such as a replica of a 19th-century Petzval lens. In his works, he prefers natural light, but sometimes experiments with various sources of lighting. The subject matter of Hirschberg's photographs covers a wide range of people and places - from movie stars and models to ordinary people, shown in an unusual way. The sceneries are created by modern spaces and historical ruins (this is visible, for example, in the series "Abandoned Beauty"). The artist creates both in black and white and using the full range of colors.
Abandoned Beauty – “Abandoned Beauty” is an art project that combines the beauty of the human body with the atmosphere of abandonment, destruction and decay. It presents beautiful women (less often men), dressed in elegant clothes or naked, in the sceneries of abandoned places. These contrasts create a collage that affects the aesthetic sense and emotions of the viewer. All photographs are united by the motif of loneliness, which is present regardless of the number of people in the frame. The project has won national and international recognition, including a gold medal in the BIFA – Budapest International Photography Awards 2023 competition (Portfolio category), a bronze medal in the TIFA – Tokyo International Photography Awards 2023 (Fine Art and Portrait categories for the work Abandoned), and a platinum medal in the London Photography Awards 2024 (Fine Art category for the work Hope). The works are presented at exhibitions, published and listed at national and European auctions.
Connected with Nature – The artistic project “Connected with Nature” emphasizes the relationship between man and nature, its beauty, diversity and complexity. It emphasizes the need to perceive the world as a harmonious whole and reminds us of the dependence of man on the ecosystem. It combines the aesthetics of the human body with the forms of nature, and apocalyptic motifs (such as wrecks or traces of destruction) draw attention to the effects of human activity. The project won a silver medal in the Budapest International Photo Awards 2024 competition for the work Glacier I.
