Stanisław Ignacy Brejdygant (ur. 2 października 1936 w Warszawie) – aktor, reżyser, scenarzysta, pisarz i dramaturg.
Absolwent polonistyki na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, wydziału aktorskiego Warszawskiej Szkoły Teatralnej i reżyserii w łódzkiej filmówce. Jako aktor występował na deskach teatrów warszawskich: Narodowego, Powszechnego, Nowego i Dramatycznego a także Teatru Bałtyckiego w Koszalinie, Teatru Polskiego w Poznaniu i Teatru Nowego w Łodzi. Jako reżyser pracował w Teatrze Współczesnym we Wrocławiu i Teatrze Nowym Warszawie. Ma w swoim dorobku role szekspirowskie i w adaptacjach Dostojewskiego, a także w wielu innych. Jako reżyser wystawił m.in. Wiecznego małżonka i Idiotę Dostojewskiego oraz pięć oper (m.in. Damę Pikową Piotra Czajkowskiego). Ma w swoim dorobku kilka filmów, słuchowisk radiowych i widowisk plenerowych. Dużą popularność zdobył jako dubbingujący tytułową postać w brytyjskim serialu Ja, Klaudiusz.
Spotkaliśmy się po raz pierwszy w grudniu 1983 r. w Nowym Jorku i wówczas zrobiłem mu pierwsze zdjęcia, tak się poznaliśmy. Od tamtego czasu fotografowałem go wielokrotnie, przy różnych okazjach, ale najciekawsze zdjęcia zrobiłem mu pewnie, kiedy zaprosił mnie na próbę sztuki monodramu „Winny” 5 czerwca 2018 r. do Teatru Polonia w Warszawie, w której sam grał, a mała scena Teatru Polonia zmienia się w więzienną celę. Stanisław Brejdygant w swojej sztuce „Winny” kreśli historię dobrego człowieka, który popełnia straszny czyn z pozornie dobrych i uzasadnionych pobudek. Aktor i reżyser w jednej osobie, stawia przed widzami trudne zadanie - zanim ocenisz, postaraj się zrozumieć. Nie wiadomo, czy każdy z nas w podobnych okolicznościach nie postąpiłby tak samo, jak bohater tej sztuki...Ale najważniejsze dla mnie jest to, że przez ponad godzinę, jestem sam na sam ze Stanisławem Brejdygatem obserwując jego zmieniającą się twarz. Powstały zdjęcia jakich nie wymyśliłby nikt, nie mam wątpliwości. A moją rolą było zarejestrowanie tego.

W 2013 został odznaczony Srebrnym Medalem „Zasłużony Kulturze Gloria Artis”.
Jest członkiem Stowarzyszenia Pisarzy Polskich, był członkiem Zarządu Głównego ZASP-u, ZAiKS-u, PEN Clubu, ITI oraz Rady Pisarzy Trzech Mórz. Ojciec aktora Igora Brejdyganta i muzyka Krzysztofa Zalewskiego. Jest żonaty z Chinką o imieniu Rita, o której mówi: „…Moja żona, jest moim największym skarbem. Jest lekarzem. Wydaje mi się, że wspaniałym, mistrzynią w dziedzinie akupunktury...”.

Stanisław Ignacy Brejdygant (born October 2, 1936 in Warsaw) - actor, director, screenwriter, writer and playwright.
A graduate of Polish studies at the University of Warsaw, the acting department of the Warsaw Theater School and of directing at the Łódź Film School. As an actor, he performed at the stages of Warsaw theaters: Narodowy, Powszechny, Nowy and Dramatyczny, as well as the Bałtycki Theater in Koszalin, the Polish Theater in Poznań and the New Theater in Łódź. As a director, he worked at the Współczesny Theater in Wrocław and the Nowy Warsaw Theater. He has roles in Shakespearean and in adaptations of Dostoyevsky, as well as in many others. As a director, he staged, among others The Eternal Spouse and Dostoevsky's Idiot, and five operas (including The Queen of Spades by Piotr Tchaikovsky). His output includes several films, radio plays and outdoor performances. He gained great popularity as a dubbing of the title character in the British series I, Claudius.
We met for the first time in December 1983 in New York and then I took the first photos of him, that's how we met. Since then, I have photographed him many times, on various occasions, but I probably took the most interesting photos of him when he invited me to rehearse the play of the monodrama "Winny" on June 5, 2018 at the Polonia Theater in Warsaw, where he himself acted, and the small stage of the Polonia Theater changes into a prison cell. In his play "Winny", Stanisław Brejdygant tells the story of a good man who commits a terrible deed for seemingly good and justified reasons. The actor and director in one person puts the viewers on a difficult task - try to understand before you judge. It is not known if each of us would have acted in the same way as the protagonist of this play in similar circumstances ... But the most important thing for me is that for over an hour I am alone with Stanisław Brejdygat watching his changing face. The resulting photos would not have been invented by anyone, I have no doubts. And my role was to record it.

He is a member of the Polish Writers' Association, he was a member of the Main Board of ZASP, ZAiKS, PEN Club, ITI and the Council of Three Seas Writers. Father of the actor Igor Brejdygant and musician Krzysztof Zalewski. He is married to a Chinese woman named Rita whom he says: “… My wife is my greatest treasure. He is a doctor. It seems to me that she is a wonderful, master in the field of acupuncture ... ”.
